**Kara is simply wonderful! When we were searching for a photographer we wanted to make sure that it was someone we got along with, since this person would be following us for the majority of the day!! We immediately had a good rapport with Kara; she is great at making you comfortable and will answer a barrage of questions and not get annoyed! Her work is phenomenal, it’s not the same five poses you see in every studio album…she works with you and your vision. Throughout the planning process she was extremely helpful, giving advice and tips and just keeping us sane. She became more of a friend then a vendor by the wedding day! The day of she helped herd the large amount of people involved and took pictures efficiently and got every shot that we wanted without being bossy or obtrusive. She even at one point helped fix my bustle! The pictures we received were beautiful and made me cry several times over! Through all of the wedding planning process, engagement picture session, communication about our style, scheduling a day of timeline, and on the actual wedding day, there is no one else we would have wanted there as our photographer. The pictures speak for themselves, but Kara herself went above and beyond to make sure she captured the important moments. She spent the entire day with us and was a great support from helping me bustle my dress to helping us deal with little (okay big) issues! It has also been great following the lives of other couples on her blog and website - seeing their engagement pictures, wedding pictures, and soon to be a year after wedding pictures shows that Kara knows how to tell their story! I found Kara though a friend's wedding and knew immediately that I had to have her for mine. Aside from absolutely exquisite photographs, Kara is a light hearted and fun person to work with. She has an unparalleled eye for amazing shots.
